THE PENGUIN PANTRY

"Responsible production, considered consumption"

 

The Penguin Pantry celebrates Australian farming and the people behind it, through supporting vibrant, rural and regional businesses. They pride themselves on promoting a healthy community, local food security and equitable access to quality food staples.

 

By working closely with Hannah, we crafted a recognisable visual identity heavily inspired by the history of the town. The imagery in the logo was hand drawn, scanned and edited enabling it to be combined with typography in its final form. A seamless and sophisticated combination that represents the brands core beliefs and speaks volumes.

THE ANNEXE

"Gather, sit, enjoy, relax"

 

A later addition to the branding suite, The Penguin Pantry celebrates another year of successful trade with the opening of The Annexe! What was once an old gallery space next door has been happily adopted and converted into a beautiful addition to their space where people can come and enjoy company and coffee. 

 

By working closely with Hannah once again, we were able to build from the visual identity of The Penguin Pantry to bring something cohesive yet strong on its own. Again, this mark was heavily inspired by the history of the town with this shield actually being an old part of The Annexe building, you may miss it at first glance, head over for a coffee and see if you can spot it!
