Illustration work with Nest Design

Two illustrations of marine life found in South Australian waters, to be used in parts of the branding for Fishbank Adelaide. It was essential that each drawing was clean cut and precise, enabling easy application to various graphic elements and print collateral.

The King George Whiting and Octopus illustrations conjure the style of etchings found on bank notes or paper money, where the shading of the images is created by undulating wave-like cross hatching. This is a subtle nod to the history of the beautiful old bank building that Fishbank resides in. The illustrations are a key part of the branding and have been applied to different digital and print collateral outcomes at Fishbank Adelaide.
